Marjorie Granheim Obituary

In Loving Memory of

MARJORIE JEAN GRANHEIM

November 15, 1947 - June 11, 2022

Dear Mom,

First, We just want to tell you how much we miss you and how hard it's been every single day here without you. It's been one year since you left us and even though your memory is so vivid and very much alive in our hearts and minds it feels like its been an eternity. While you were here, and in the time shortly before you made your departure, we tried to make sure you knew how much you meant to us.

Mom... YOU meant the world to us; you were so many things: a loving wife; a kind and nurturing mother; a fun-loving grandmother; a dear friend to many; and above all else a God-fearing Christian. You touched so many lives with your kindness, your love for other people, and your expressions of joy and faith. As your children, you filled our young lives with so much love and shared in all our laughter as well as our tears. There are so many fond memories of you being as excited about our birthdays as we were and knowing that when we were adults, we could one day look back and cherish each memory of the-unconditional love you had for us. All the fun and games we had together, the unforgotten bed-time stories you made up, the singing and dancing we did while you played songs on your organ, the baking and holiday celebrations, and dressing us up on holidays and for church every Sunday because you were so proud of your girls, you were our number one fan... your cute and joyful attitude made every day special for us, all of it, every moment. You lived by God's word and the teachings of Jesus and taught us to hold tight to God's love even in the darkest of moments. You prayed for all of us, every day. You were a shining example of kindness, generosity, forgiveness, and hope. You taught us so much and cheerfully gave us all of you. You made us feel like we were your world. You were our best friend, our mentor, and our angel on earth.

Thank you for being the best human; the best wife; the best mom; and the best friend. Your life was a blessing to us, and you left us too soon, but we are so grateful for the time we had with you. We miss you every moment of every day.

We love you, Mom. Until we meet again, rest easy in our Savior's embrace.

Your loving children, grand children and husband.

This was my mother Marjorie at her retirement party. It was a fun and wonderful day. She was so happy and so surprised by all the love she received from co-workers even though they were Sad to see her go. But happy to see her off into retirement. The day brings back so many precious memories. I am Kimberly her daughter. Life hasn't gotten any easier since the day you left us. But I find peace in knowing you are with Jesus and we will be united again one day. Love you Mom
