Cristina and Chase Hegwood

July 27, 2008

HI my name is Cristina Hegwood and I am married to Dinky Dilmore-Hegwood's son Chase Hegwood. I had the pleasure of meeting Uncle Billy just once and i have to say that we had a blast. We packed the whole Dilmore crew with us and spent the evening with Uncle Billy. He made this wonderful impression of a "special person" that would make you laugh til you cry. Those who were there know exactly who he was impersianting and should get a kick out of this. Forever and ever will i remember his impression anytime i hear his name. Chase has always said that his Uncle Billy had an joyous eternal spirit and could light up any room and everyone who knew him would agree. He was loved and will always be cherished. It was great meeting you Billy and i will never forget you. GOD BLESS your family in this hard time and know that you are in my prayers and thank you for letting me share these words with you.

Aunt Joyce, Billy Jr, Kenneth and David: Please find comfort in knowing that Uncle Billy is in a better place and surrounded by other loved ones that have gone on before him. I'm sure mamaw and papaw were there to meet him. Know, too, that I have many fond and loving memories of my Uncle Billy which I will treasure forever. If there's anything you need, or ever just need to talk, I will always be available for you. Let's keep in touch! My love always!!!
