Phyllis Ruth (Geye) Wooster October 10, 1941 - October 29, 2013 Visitation for Phyllis Wooster will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles Street) on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery (3700 River Blvd.) on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Phyllis loved shopping, playing cards and bunco...and did I mention shopping! She also loved Hawaii, playing the slot machines in Las Vegas, watching TV game shows and sitcoms and cherished her vast Coca Cola Collection. Phyllis worked at Sinaloas, Casa Manana, and Casa Munoz restaurants. The Munoz family was like a part of her family. She was a Scout leader, a school volunteer and all the children called her Grandma. Phyllis also worked as a volunteer for the Kern County Sheriff's Department as well as working on their Rodeo Committee. She is survived by her six children, Vicki (Dave) Fesler, Roy Wooster, Wendy (Ross) Cooper, Scot (Tammy) Wooster, James Wooster, and Jeff (Lorrie) Wooster; her sister, Pat Deeter; and her brother, Larry (Karen) Geye. She is also survived by "The Joys of her Life" her 12 grandchildren, Shana, Mindy, Kara, Bailey, Scot Jr., Bryan, Houston, Dillon, Brock, Blake, Tracie, and Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Janeli and Kaylie. Phyllis is preceded in death by her mother, Nola Mae Geye; her father, Lawrence Geye; her husband, Jim Wooster; son, Arthur Lee Mills; and her special friend, Walter Blaylock. I can truly say that she was a dear friend and co-worker. No one I ever knew applied the work ethic like she did. She was kind to a fault and as faithful and loyal and anyone could ask for. I hope she is enjoying her life now in Heaven for I cannot think of anyone more deserving.
