Robbie Bonas Obituary

In Loving Memory of

ROBBIE ANN BONAS

September 9, 1942 - April 4, 2021

Today is your 83rd birthday. You brought so much recognition and happiness into the Bonas family because of your beauty, personality, achievements and successes. In high school you were a class officer and song Leader all four years. At Bakersfield College you were the only freshman cheer leader on a five member team and as a sophomore were head cheer leader. In 1961 you were selected as home coming queen and honored in 2013 as a Bakersfield College Star. We married in 1996 by Pastor Lloyd Smith and, most importantly, remarried by Monsignor Perry Kavookjian in 2020 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. You contracted Parkinsons Disease and the Lord took you on Easter Sunday morning in April of 2021. It has been my greatest challenge to learn to live without you but with help from specific friends I 'm slowly achieving success. Visiting your gravesite at the Bakersfield National Cemetery provides weekly happiness, peace and comfort. I 've mentioned several times I 'll miss you until we meet again.

Your loving husband,

Gene
