Tehachapi - Bob Stonecipher, 87, passed away on May 7, 2022 in Bakersfield,Ca. Bob was born in Cleveland,Tn to Garland and Bonnie (Williams) Stonecipher, on June 5, 1934.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Marian by a mere 114 days. Also by his parents and sister Alene.
Bob leaves behind Barbara (Mike) Gilliam, Terry and Tim Stonecipher of Bakersfield. Mike (Bernadine) Stonecipher of Atascadero. He also leaves 6 grandchildren, his pride and joys, and 15 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Nancy Anderson and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is greatly missed.
Bob was not a man to sit. He was always busy doing something. He was a carpenter by trade and a local building contractor. His true passion was anything with a motor. He enjoyed the many family trips of camping and boating.
The family would like to thank Magnolia Place, especially Vanessa, Allison and Rosa. Your loving care and attention to our Dad was always appreciated.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Basham Funeral Care, 3312 Niles St., from 5-8pm. Graveside service will be on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 3700 River Blvd at 10am.
