Russell Ragsdal Obituary
Nov. 3, 1913 April 10, 2003
Russell Ragsdale passed away April 10, 2003 at the age of 89. He was the loving father of daughters, Sharie Baggs, Bakersfield; deceased son-in-law, Lin Baggs; Deela Krause and husband John Krause of Turlock; loving grandfather of Jeanna and husband Audy Sneed, Jodie and husband Greg Batchelor, Kurt and wife Libby Krause, Janetta and husband Mark De Mott; loving great-grandfather of Audra Sneed, Adrienne Sneed, Cody Sneed, Tyra and husband Ron Bryant, Paige Bachelor and Matthew Krause; sisters, Dorothy Logan of Delano, Opal Smith of Kingsburg, Ruby Keener of Visalia and brother, Vernon Ragsdale of San Luis Obispo. Russell was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Naomi and one daughter, Marlene Ragsdale.
Russell was born in Cucamonga, California in 1913, and was raised in Delano where he owned and operated an automobile shop for 50 years. Russell was involved with the Assembly of God Church for many years and enjoyed childrens ministry. He was loved by many and is now living what he has always taught. Our family would like to thank Hoffman Hospice for their warm and caring assistance.
Graveside service will be held Monday, April 14, 2003 at 1 p.m. at Delano Cemetery.
