Theodore Frank Tillman

Services: Wed., April 30, 1 p.m.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, at 1 p.m., both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, for Theodore Frank Tillman, 85, who passed away April 23, 2003, in Bakersfield. Reverend Father Craig Harrison will officiate with interment following in Union Cemetery.

Mr. Tillman was born December 3, 1917, in Wasco, where he lived and attended St. Johns Catholic School and Wasco High School. He moved to Bakersfield 61 years ago where he was employed 38 years in the petroleum industry. He was with Chevron Oil Company for 32 years where he retired from as warehouse foreman. Ted was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his family, but he was also a person committed to his work. It was always important to him to take care of business. Throughout his life he took care of his family with love, and his business with integrity.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Lavilla; son, Don Tillman and wife, Yvonne; daughter, Rosemary Delfino and husband, Ken; grandchildren, Rebecca Delfino of Los Angeles, Luis Delfino and wife, Rebecca of New York City, Julie Seybold and husband, Steve of Davis, CA, and Jennifer Church of Bakersfield; great-grandchildren, Miranda Delfino, Brookston Church, Brandi Church, Emily Jane Seybold; brother, John Tillman of Concord, CA; two sisters, Loretta Roskam of Lancaster, CA, and Catherine Adams of Fort Worth, Texas; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, from 1-5 p.m.
