Therese Tuyet Thi Vuong, born on June 27, 1942, in Vietnam, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, in Bakersfield, California, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 83.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Therese Tuyet lived a life of love, self-sacrifice, and unwavering faith. She was truly a "maker of families", not only her own but also those of her seven beloved children.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Peter Lanh Ba Nguyen, and her seven children, among whom is Dr. Vinh-Linh Nguyen, a medical oncologist at Blood and Cancer Therapeutics, Bakersfield, CA.
Wake services: Greenlawn Southwest, Bakersfield, CA., Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, October 24, 2025 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Funeral Mass: Saint Francis Church, Bakersfield, CA., Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 9:00 AM.
Interment: Good Shepherd Cemetery And Mausoleum, Huntington Beach, CA.
