I worked with Tom at The Texaco Refinery in Bakersfield, CA. I will always remember Tom taking time out of his very busy schedule to chat with me and we would always end up laughing about some topic. Tom's Wife (Carol) and my Mother (Earlene) worked together at the same school. My Mother would always tell me the places Carol and Tom had visited while on vacation. May your precious memories bring you comfort. Tom will be missed!

I was welcomed into Tom Millington's family when I was just 23 years old, and now at 60 I realize how much his presence shaped my life. From the very beginning I was struck by his brilliance with anything mechanical or technical. No challenge was too small or too great.
--Tom dove in with enthusiasm, eager to help solve problems and teach along the way.
One of my favorite memories of him took place while I was working on a college assignment for my degree. Although the assignment was outside his usual expertise, when I asked for help, he immediately said "you bet!" We spent an entire day together creating a video with music, props, and perfect timing, to capture the work and spirit of the artist Winslow Homer. That day was filled with laughter, learning, and the generosity of a man who took the time out of his life to guide a young woman chasing her dreams.
Through the years , we would watch that video together, and each time I was transported back to that beautiful day. Tom was a man with a true passion for helping others. His guidance and brilliance left a mark on everyone who knew him. He will be missed, but the lessons and love he shared will live on in all of us.
Much Love, DeeDee
