Vernon Lee Clark, 82, was born to Orville Lee Clark and Ethyl Clark, in Bakersfield, CA. He was the only boy of 4 children.
Lee started his own trucking company V. L. Clark Trucking and drove a big rig for over 60 years. He married Flora Janet in 1962 and they had 1 daughter: Velvet Lee Clark. They were married for 30 years, then as things sometimes happen, they divorced. Lee remarried Charlotte (Vernon) Hood and gained 3 bonus daughters: Michelle, Sherry, and Alisa. Lee and Charlotte were together 28 years. He loved racing, fishing, camping, restoring classic cars and most of all his family. Lee was a very proud poppa and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Lee was preceded in death by his mother Ethyl Clark, father Orville Clark, sister Peggy Williams, sister Irene Pasquini and ex-wife Flora Janet Clark.
He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte Clark, daughter: Velvet Clark of Bakersfield, bonus daughters: Michelle McKee (Sean McKee) of Bakersfield, CA, Sherry Graham (Lane Graham) of Bakersfield, CA, and Alisa Hood-Monarrez (Jesse Monarrez) of Claremore, OK; grandchildren: Christopher Clark, Trever McKee (Courtney McKee), Nick McKee (Caitlyn McKee), Austin Graham, Joshua Hood-Monarrez, Allena Hood-Monarrez, Parker Graham, Malachi Hood-Monarrez, and Noah Hood-Monarrez; great grandchildren: Abby Clark, Olivia McKee, Michael McKee, Gabriel McKee, Henrik McKee, and Amelia McKee all of Bakersfield, CA, and many family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date
The family would like to thank Dr. Christina del Toro-Diaz M.D. for the exceptional care she gave Lee, all the doctors and staff at CBCC, Dr. Laughlin and his P.A. Carrie and everyone who had a hand in helping take care of him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the American Cancer Society in His Honor.
