Hello. I lived next door to Al in Kingsville for 10 years. After moving, I kept in touch with him. I know how he lived Ruby. Al was a kind person and always called me "Pretty lady". I was shocked to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.

I grew up with Al! Although he had many friends and acquaintances, he always made time to "hang out" with me, or allowed me to come to his house and "hang out". We had a unique neighborhood crew, a brotherhood and family tyoe bond! Al was a rock drummer at heart! I remember listening to "Bad Company" albums and watching and hearing him play his set beat for beat. Then came KISS and I think his ultimate band, Van Halen. Over the years, we lost touch with each other..then, through the advent of Facebook, we reconnected. I always enjoyed his messages and the laughs we had reminiscing the past. He always had a word of encouragement for me.
Al, I'm going to miss you brother! God speed and I pray you are resting peacefully my friend and my brother!
