Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11am till 12:00 noon when services will be held the Hardesty Funeral home 12 Ridgely Ave. Annapolis, MD. Graveside service Wednesday 9am at Epworth Cemetery Rehoboth, DE. Contributions are suggested to West Friendship Elementary School 12500 Frederick Road West Friendship, MD 21794. "Friends are Forever" Amanda touched the hearts of all whom she shared life with. Amanda was an amazing Daughter, Sister, Friend, Teacher, Mentor, and so much more. Deeply missed by all. Her smile will "forever remain" in our hearts. Our prayers are sent in hope she will "Shine" on us all forever.

Uncle Phil Aunt Rikki and Alex. My deepest and heartfelt condolences to you all. I am deeply saddened and at a loss for words at this time. I just wanted you to know, that I love you as parents, Alex as my brother and Amanda as my little sister. Although we all continued our lives in different avenues and venues, I cherish and will always remember my childhood growing up with all of you. I am so very sorry, and I love you all deeply.

Miss. Knab taught my son 2 years ago in 5th grade and had my daughter this year in 4th grade. She was such a wonderful, giving, loving teacher and will be missed greatly. My daughter has been sharing sweet stories about her teacher and enjoyed it when Miss. Knab called her Kiddo! Cassidy sends her love to Miss. Knab's nephew, who Miss. Knab referred to often and with great love. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. WFES has lost a great teacher!

Amanda was a creative teacher, concerned that her students always get new and deep understandings from her instruction. It was a privilege to be her colleague in graduate school and will miss what she brought to our group.
