Barbara Mayerhofer Obituary

Barbara G. Mayerhofer, age 87, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on December 26, 2023, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the beloved daughter of the late Franklin and Georgia (Cole) McQuay and the devoted wife of the late Robert Mayerhofer.

Barbara is survived by her loving daughters, Robin D. Towner (Ian) of Grasonville, MD, and Pamela S. Brun of Bel Air, MD; cherished granddaughter, Brittany A. Towner; sister, Lynne G. Roberts (Steve); and sister-in-law, Maxine McQuay.

In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly A. Zecha, and brother, Franklin P. McQuay, Jr.

Visitation to honor Barbara's memory will be held under the caring guidance of the family-owned and operated McComas Family Funeral Home, Abingdon, MD, on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm.
