Heather,
I have a favorite poem written by Veronica A Shoffstall. I hope you can get something from it in your times of need. Know we are here for you and love you and the kids.
After a While
After a while, you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul.
and you earn that love doesn't mean leaning and Company doesn't mean security.
And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contract and presents aren't promises.
And you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and your eyes open, with the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build all your roads on today because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans and futures have a way of falling down in midflight.
After a while, you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much. So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. And you learn that you really can endure....
That you really are strong
And you really do have worth
And you learn and learn....
With every goodbye, you learn.
Love, Lori

Dear Heather, Carlee and Cole,
My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you. Carl will be missed by many but none so much as you. He was a good friend to my brother and I always considered him family because of this bond. May your family, friends and the Lord give you comfort and love today and each tomorrow.

Carl, you will always be thought of as a brother & best friend. We never know how life will go or in which direction but, we must have faith that God always has a plan for us. You will be so missed. You are a part of all my childhood memories. And you inspired me to start my own business. Thank you for all the memories. Heather, Carlee, & Cole the road ahead will surely be a challenging one for you. May you always be surrounded by family and friends offering love and support. Dawn you are like a sister to us. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers always. May God's presence help to comfort you and your families during this difficult time. Love, Kev & Angie
