Cecilia Margaret Weber

Cecilia Margaret (Meg) Weber, daughter of Mario and Margaret Rodriquez, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2014, concluding a beautiful life, and an extraordinary experience with cancer. Meg accomplished much in her life: she was the first in her family to go to college, which helped sow the seeds for the education and development of her sons - the lights of her life. She built and nurtured a 45-year marriage with Deacon Paul A. Weber, partnering with him in many great works of charity and care in their vocation with the Church. She devoted her professional life to the advancement of schools and opportunities for children to pursue their educational dreams. Then she chose 'the road less traveled' and retired early to practice her six passions: gardening, cooking, sewing, opera, golf, and sharing any or all of those with others - usually with family and friends, but sometimes with and for strangers she never met. It was in this phase of her life that she found and appreciated the true richness of living. Along the way, she was blessed with innumerable friends and supporters, all of whom walked with her through her final chapter of living - the experience of dying with grace and comfort in the knowledge she was loved, and had lived a beautiful life. Meg is survived by her devoted husband Paul, and their children Erich and Ken, her stepchildren Frances and Richard, as well as their wonderful grandchildren Ethan and Andrew, and Evan, Rees, Bryce, Kirsten and Anika. Friends may call at the family-owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (at beltway exit 26) on Sunday from 6 to 9 PM. Mrs. Weber will lie-in-repose at St. Ignatius Church, 805 N. Calvert Street on Monday from 10 to 11 AM when the funeral Mass will be celebrated.
