Chester Moore Obituary

MOORE , Chester "Chet" On November 1, 2011 Chester "Chet" Moore of Whiteford passed away at home after his battle with heart disease. He was 62. Born to the late Chester Moore, Sr. and Loretta McDonnell- Moore. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Karen Moore; devoted daughters, Kimberly and husband George Shew and Bethany Moore and Fiancé Zach Spriggs ; loving grandchildren Kaylyn, Kyle and Lauren Shew; dear sisters, Linda Moore and Dorothy Hruz, and many family and friends. Chet was a faithful and loving husband and adored his girls with his greatest pride being his family. He was a terrific "Pop Pop". He had a way of making everyone feel special and had a passion for gardening, and God's nature. He'll be best remembered for his love of life, positive attitude and kind and generous nature. Chet proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Prior to retiring from Erickson Construction in 2009, he was the General Superintendent of Field Operations and traveled nationally for the company.
Friends and family will honor Chet's life at the family owned and operated Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services - Bel Air, 3 Newport Dr. Forest Hill, (Rts. 23 & 24) with a viewing on Friday, November 4, 2011, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will take place the next day beginning at 11 AM. Interment St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parish Cemetery, Pylesville, Maryland with military honors. Memory tributes may be sent on www.evansfuneralchapel.com

NOTE TO CHET: I have not see you for many years but I recently moved and was told you lived near by. I will always have fund memories of you. I was on my way to work this morning and Pink Floyd came on the radio and I remember going to see them with you. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
