I´m deeply saddened by Dave´s passing. He was a wonderful friend, passionate conservationist and a top notch birder. We enjoyed many enjoyable adventures together during his tenure on the National Audubon Society Board of Trustees. When a tough decision needed to be made, or controversy arose, Dave was always there with good advice, compassion, and his boundless love of the natural world. RIP Dave.
