Debbie Maxine Block

When Debbie Block, 77, peacefully passed on March 9, 2025, the world lost an artist, a teacher, and a troublemaker for good. She is survived by her two daughters, Jenny and Rebecca; her two granddaughters, Hannah and Vivian; and her sister, Ruth, all of whom she loved dearly. Debbie was a special education parent/infant specialist and was impossible to beat at Scrabble and Rummikub. She will be sorely missed, especially when the puzzles in the New York Times are especially tricky. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Planned Parenthood at www.plannedparenthood.org.
