Denise Kane Obituary

Denise "Dee" Annette Kane was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. She left this world after a courageous battle with brain cancer on January 22, 2021 at age 59.

Dee is survived by her loving mother and father Claude and Bobbie Warwick, her son Richard Joseph Kane Jr. and his wife Alice Kane, and grandchild Colin Xavier Kane, her brother and his wife Trent and Robin Coletta, her adopted daughter Barbie Gaydos and cat Capitan Addy Tude.

Dee was always willing to help a friend in need. She devoted herself to those she loved. Dee loved helping animals, one time leaving a dinner with her daughter to find a missing cat, returning it to the owner, and going back to dinner to share in the triumph. She was an accomplished cook, spreading her caring spirit to those that tasted her food. She felt the most alive with a drink in one hand and a pair of grill tongs in the other, basking in the sun at Anchorage Marina with her friends. Her life's desire was to have a grandbaby, for which she was elated to receive shortly before she passed.

A memorial will be planned for the summer of 2021. In true Dee fashion, in leu of flowers she would like all donations to go to The Feline Rescue Association at Baltimorecats.org.

I just can’t believe that you are gone. You had such a fun and bright spirit. You were one of the strongest people I know in so many ways, right down to the end.
You have no idea how many people love you. Save a place in heaven for your Anchorage peeps. IWe love you so much.

Hey Joe,

Sorry for your loss man. I did not know Denise very well but she was very kind and the life of the party when I did see her. I am glad she got to meet her grandson before she passed. My prayers are for you and your family and for all that knew and loved Denise.

You will be deeply missed!
It wont be the same at the marina without you there!
Always there for me when I needed a lending hand with a smile on her face!
But most of all I'm going to miss her laughter & smiling face! She was the only one who could get away with calling me Ruthann when my name was really Ruth!
If anyone would call.me that she would correct them & tell them that was not my name! That she was the only one that could call me that! The next time somebody calls me Ruthann I will probably turn around & say what Do you need Dee!
R.I.P. Dee! Love & Miss You!
