Diane E. Brown

Diane Elizabeth Brown, Age 61, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025, in Bel Air.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Diane was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Allen Parscal and Edna Marie (Hock) Parscal, who survives her. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 38 years, Edward Brian Brown.

Diane will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Megan Davidson and her husband Jordan, and Renae Sias and her husband Travis. She is also survived by her dear sister, Susan Harper, and extended family, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Diane had a deep love for life and nature. She enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, photography, decorating her home, shopping, camping, hiking, and watching wildlife-especially turtles, which held a special place in her heart. One of her favorite pastimes was building fires on the family farm in Western Pennsylvania, a skill lovingly taught to her by her husband. She was always amazed by the beauty of the flame and the peacefulness it brought her.

She also found joy and purpose in her work at The John Carroll School and through various clerical positions in healthcare.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm at McComas Family Funeral Homes in Bel Air. A Funeral Service will follow the same day at 8:00 PM. On Saturday September 27, 2025, a Visitation will take place from 10 – 11 am at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, 724 W. Main Street Rural Valley, PA 16249. Interment will follow at Rural Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Diane's memory to the Harford County Humane Society, honoring her love for animals and nature.
