Donna Turczyk Obituary



Donna "Gibson" Turczyk, 73, a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on March 17, 2016. She was born on June 30, 1942 in Wilmington, Delaware. Donna retired from the MVA after a long career. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Jo Murphy and her mother, Lois E. Gibson Murphy. She is survived by her husband, Starr Turczyk; her daughter, Kelly Turczyk; her sisters, Betty Canedy and Lois Ann Gurule; her brother, John Murphy; her sister-in-law, Mary Jo Turczyk; her brother-in-law, Steve Turczyk (Kathy); and her niece, Genna Turczyk. Donna is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends, including Carole and Patricia Ann. The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy.) on Tuesday, March 22nd from 6-8 PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Stand Up to Cancer. For further information, please visit www.singletonfuneralhome.com.
