Unexpectedly on January 31, 2019 DOROTHY MARIE "Dot" SAMMIS (nee Norman), amazing mother to Debbie Higgins (Ken), Dawn Fink (Charles) and the late Diane Sammis; dear sister of Betty McDermott, Robert Norman, Sr. Aloysius Norman, SSND, Virginia O'Malley and Ronald Norman; cherished Nana of Ally and Grace Fink. Also lovingly survived by Richard Sammis.The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 100 Church Lane, Cockeysville, MD 21030 on Friday, February 8, 10am. I met Dot years ago and although I didn't know her well I've come to know the Fink family and I do know how much she was loved by them. My deepest sympathy and compassion for your and Dorothy's entire family as well as all of her many friends.
