Friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Caroline and Oliver Streets, on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment New Cathedral cemetery, Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Society of The Sacred Heart P.O. Box 65010, Baltimore, MD 21209. Arrangements by Leonard J. It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of a wonderful friend, mentor and advisor. He lived a long and full life as a devoted priest of the Josephite Order but also had a great knowledge and understanding of the secular world. He was a thoughtful homilist, generous and astute investor, sharing his time, understanding and wisdom with many of us. In addition to his vocation as a priest, his other passion started when he was a boy and matured into being an award winning philatelist with extensive and expert knowledge in stamps and postal history of the Vatican, Roman States, Germany, Zeppelin Mail and other areas. We are all wiser and richer for sharing some time with a gentleman of the old school who was, indeed, a gentle man. He had his sharp wit and patience until the end of his 93 years. We will miss him greatly and will remember his life stories and his loyal friendship. May God Bless him always.
