Eleanor Bacon Obituary
Stephen S. (Teresa) Bacon, loving grandmother of Kyle H. Bacon, dear sister-in-law of Jane and George Seals and their children Laura, Chris and Nick, and Walter E. and Rita Bacon and their children Ann, Kevin and Sean; and special friend of Wayne and Susan Arrington, Bill and Nancy Conaway, and Shelley Price.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11 AM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 5600 Old Washington Rd., Sykesville, MD 21784 or to Coastal Hospice Inc., P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21804. Steve and Jeff,
I have to say your mother was the coolest mother (at least to me) on the block. Remember this was the 60's where June Cleaver ruled, and your parents had the foreign cars and your MOM took us on numerous nature hikes, showed us how to collect butterflies and rocks, and was very independent thinker.......Right after my mom died last year, I sent you mom a nice note thanking her for all the great memories. I am so glad I heard back from her. She was something..........

So sorry for the loss of Eleanor. She was a wonderful inspiration for everyone who knew her.
She always brightened my days at Lakeside.
