Elizabeth Goins Obituary

Elizabeth Josephine Goins, one of Baltimore's finest private duty baby nurses for over 40 years, a long-time resident of Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 101. Mrs. Goins had been residing with her daughter in Georgia for the past six years.

She is survived by her loving children, Debra Campbell (Wendall Campbell), Jacqueline Davis-Belt (Leon Belt), Jerome Trusty Sr. (Kari Trusty), as well as her sister Shirley Cooper, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Bernard C. Goins; loving daughter Barbara J. West; caring sisters, Louise Allen; Madge Cannon, and Dorothy Harvey; and dear parents, Willie and Clara Fernandez Rice.

Viewing Services will be held at Wylie Funeral Home, 9200 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133, on October 31st, 2025. 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm Homegoing Services will take place at Whitestone Baptist Church, 3001 Baker Street, Baltimore, MD 21216, on November 1st, 2025 at 10:00 am with Interment to follow at Maryland National Memorial Cemetery Laurel, Maryland
