Frank Haig Obituary
Father Haig, a native of Philadelphia, entered the Society of Jesus in 1946 and was ordained a priest in 1960. After receiving his Ph.D. in Physics from the Catholic University of America in 1957, he taught at what was then Wheeling Jesuit University and at Loyola University Maryland.
Father also served as president of Wheeling Jesuit University and Le Moyne College.
Visitation at Saint Matthias Church, 128 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10 AM. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Live-stream at https://saintmatthias.org/live-stream
Private burial at a later date at the Jesuit Cemetery, Wernersville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the USA East Province, Society of Jesus, 39 E. 83rd Street, NY, NY 10028.
