Dear Mrs Pesci and Family
Frank was instrumental 40 years ago in driving forward the process of Prince George's Community College initiating a new Health Sciences program in Respiratory Therapy. He brought Dr. Bickford and me together in this endeavor, and I am sure this was only one of many ways in which he led Prince George's County so modestly over those years. May Frank rest in peace and bask in his family's pride.

God bless him. May he rest in peace. Dr. Pesci was born in Somerville a few years before my late mom, Sally. My sister, Beth, recalls that they did not know each other in NJ, but knew some of the same people once they realized they both came from the same place. I remember speaking to my fourth grade class from St. Mary's when we went to Annapolis. One of the topics addressed was the death penalty. It was at the time Gov. Mandel starting having troubles.

I have never forgotten Dr. Pesci after all these years. I was sad to learn of his passing. I was a clerk-typist in his office when he was Dean of Academic Affairs at PG Community College when it was located in Suitland High School. I was 17 when I first started working for him. He loved his family and his work so much.He loved gnocchi. He knew just about everyone in Maryland! He was a man of faith, and his sense of humor was unmatched. Please accept my sincerest prayerful sympathy.

To the Pesci Family, I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you all. Frank was a good friend and colleague. He worked for me for many years at Anne Arundel Community College and the students loved him and his stories. I know his personal insights in regard to the workings of the State Legislature were treasured stories to the students. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
