On April 4, 2017, Dr. Gilbert Nathan Feinberg, devoted husband of Janet Feinberg (nee Levitan); beloved father of Andrew M. (Robin) Feinberg, Gail (Steven) Coppel and Melissa (Dr. Adam) Eisner; dear brother of Annette Meliker and Dr. Stanford (Joyce) Feinberg; loving grandfather of Justin Feinberg, Zachary Feinberg, Brittany Feinberg, Brad (Stephanie) Coppel, Drew Coppel, Emily Eisner and Lauren Eisner; beloved great-grandfather of Charlie Coppel; cherished son of the late Lillian and Benjamin Feinberg. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Thursday, April 6, at 12 pm. Interment Beth Tfiloh Cemetery - 5800 Windsor Mill Road. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Beth Tfiloh Congregation or Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School, 3300 Old Court Road, Baltimore, MD 21208. In mourning at 9 Old Creek Court, Owings Mills, MD 21117, through Sunday.

My memory of Gil goes back to Forest Park High School. He was Class of June 1952 and I was Feb. 1953. He was Student President and I was president of the Booster Club. We came together again in med. school, then went our separate ways.
Gil was an inspiration to all of us in high school, and was admired and respected by all who knew him. I'm sure that the integrity that he showed in school carried over into his practice and interpersonal relationships. The world is always made poorer by the loss of someone like Gil Feinberg.
