KATKOW , Herman On August 22, 2013, Herman Katkow ; cherished husband of the late Ethel Katkow (nee Bakal); adored father of Dr. Eric (Hattie) Katkow, and the late Janet Katkow; beloved grandfather of Dr. Lawrence (Andrea) Katkow, Sharon (Ilan) Spieler, and Hannah Caron; devoted great-grandfather of Emilia Katkow, Lili Katkow, Sivan Spieler, and Tal Spieler.
Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Sunday, August 25, at 9 am. Interment Anshe Emunah Aitz Chaim Cemetery - 3901 Washington Blvd. Please omit flowers. I have only just heard about Herman's (Flash's) passing. This is a terrible loss, and I will miss him. My only consolation is that he and Cousin Ethel are now together again. My sympathies to Eric and the rest of the family.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Herman for many years. All of my team at Merrill Lynch sends our heartfelt condolences to his family. We will miss this lovely, intelligent man.
