Jacqueline Moler McCoy

1930 - 2015

Jacqueline Moler McCoy of Towson, MD died peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2015. She was 84 years old. She was born in Brunswick, MD on January 28, 1930 to her loving parents, Forrest "Red" and Helen Loy Moler and welcomed by her older brother Bob. The Moler family later welcomed her younger brother Forrest, "Junior". Following graduation from Strayer Business College, she lived in Washington, D.C. where she worked in the Pentagon for the Air Force and where she met her husband, James, "Jim" Victor McCoy. They married in Brunswick on October 15th, 1955. They made their home in Severna Park, MD and later in Jacksonville, MD. Jackie worked many years at Hillendale Country Club in Phoenix, MD. Jackie and Jim had two children, Sioban Lynn McCoy and Craig Patrick McCoy (predeceased). Their extended family grew with Craig's wife, Jean Fay and their two sons, Brian McCoy and Kevin McCoy and Kimberly Grose, partner to Sioban McCoy. Jackie was devoted to and defined by family. She believed her greatest role was the care and love of her parents and raising kind, well-mannered children that grow up to be good citizens in this world. Jackie passed down to Sioban, Craig, and her precious grandsons, Brian and Kevin a devotion to family, a love of tradition, good manners, kindness, intellect and her great sense of humor. Jackie was quick witted and funny which lives on through her beloved Brian and Kevin. We deeply loved Jackie, will miss her and are so grateful to have had her in our lives. She is survived by her husband Jim McCoy, daughter Sioban (Kimberly), daughter-in-law Jean McCoy, grandsons Brian and Kevin McCoy, brother Robert Moler, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. Services will be held on Saturday, January 31st at 11:00 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle Southeast, Leesburg, VA 20175. A reception will follow the funeral.
