Jaimee Thalwitzer Obituary
THALWITZER, age 14, lost her battle with cancer. She is the devoted daughter of Timothy and Deborah Thalwitzer (nee Michael); loving sister of Timothy Thalwitzer, Jr., Lucas Brewer and Stacy Patzman; dear granddaughter of Ruth Michael. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to call the SCHIMUNEK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 9705 Belair Road (Forge Road) on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Zion United Church of God, 8701 Cottington Road (Perry Hall) on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment Parkwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made in the memory of Jaimee Thalwitzer to the Pediatric Oncology Dept. at Johns Hopkins Hospital, 600 N. Wolfe Street, Baltimore, MD 21287.

Jaimee has always had a special place in my heart from the time of her diagnosis. Whether it was staying up late when I worked on the inpatient unit and watching movies together during chemo, or when I took care of her in the emergency department. She always had a brave face even when the news was not going her way. I truly will miss her smiling face and ability to crack a joke.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family at such a horrible time. I have a 17 year old daughter and I could not imagine losing her at such a young age. Dustin is my nephew and he was blessed to have had Jaimee in his life if even for a short time. God bless and be with you.

I guess we couldn't have all of God's Angels & I know you truly are one...only an Angel could come onto this earth for such a short period of time and leave behind such positve influence......Only an Angel could have fought off something so vicious so gracefully and beautifully......No matter how sick Jaime was she was more beautiful then the day before! I just remeber what Stacy said at the funeral..."Jaime did beat this...Jaime went on her own time on her own terms in her own way! Jaime was healed!" We love you Jaime you will forever be in our hearts and minds! Gone but never forgotten!!!

My Deepest Sympathy to Mom & Dad, and the entire family. Jamie was such a wonderful young lady, and I will always remember her. I am so glad that even on bad days I was able to help Jamie smile some.

I did not know Jaimee very well, but she was my classmate in school and whenever I saw her she looked very beautiful and happy. I had suspected she had cancer, but she glowed every single day and had the courage to go through with school even though she was sick. My mother is an Oncology nurse and I know very well how hard it is to fight cancer. I only wish she hadn't died so young. My prayers are with her family, and I will never forget how strong and happy she was every day she was alive. She was such a sweet girl, and I wish I could have told her how radiant and happy she was every day. I'll never get to tell her now, and that is my deepest regret. I will miss her. I hope her family will find strength to cope, and know by reading this that their Jaimee was truly one in a million; an absolute amazing girl.

Jaimee will always have a very special place in my heart. It was an honor and priviledge to know her and to care for her. Her strength and grace through the long battle were inspirational. I will miss her quick wit and smart remarks, she was definitely one of a kind. All my love and prayers to her family and friends.

We keep asking our selves .. Why Jaimee? Why did you choose to take Jaimee away? Why take such a beautiful young lady away from us so quickly? Jaimee had so much in life to look forward to do. We are never going to get the 'right' answer. It's so hard to go on everyday knowing she is not here with us.
I only hung out with Jaimee a few times , but it just seemed like I knew her forever!
She was such a great person!
I am going to miss her.
It's not going to feel right going to the Pool Hall on a Saturday night without Jaimee.
By the way - She was a POOL SHARK!

I will never forget Jaimee's smile. No matter how bad it was she still stayed strong. She always tried to make things sound better then they where. I will never forget her. I enjoyed the time I spent with her. Jaimee had a great impact on my life, she really tought me alot. My heart goes out to everyone who was lucky to know her and to have her in their life.
