James Michael Frank Gualco

James Michael Frank Gualco James Michael Frank Gualco of Yuba City passed away April 29, 2009 at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville. He was born October 1, 1920 in Barcelona, Spain. James worked for the State of California as an Auditor for more than 40 years. He was a long time Yuba-Sutter resident. He was a member of the U.S. Army serving in Europe & a World War II Veteran. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1941 & married Beuna Dunton in 1943; they were married for 58 years. His job brought him to Yuba City where he has resided ever since. He was a longtime member of the Sons of Norway & St. Isidore Catholic Church. Those that shared his life are his Daughters Marianne Graham of Boise, ID, Janet Gualco of California & Cathy Shires of Sutter. Son Forrest Gualco of Yuba City. Grandchildren 10. Great-Grandchildren 15. He is preceded in death by his Wife Beuna Gualco. There will be a reciting of the Rosary & Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday May 6, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 222 Clark Ave Yuba City. Burial will follow at Sutter Cemetery in Sutter. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in James name to the American Heart Association 1372 Longfellow Ave Chico, CA 95926. Arrangements under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
