Jim, Growing old would have been a lot more fun if you hadn't left so soon. Something reminds me of that almost every day. You left some great memories, thanks for that.

I worked with Jim for many years handling the Firestone bookings. He told it like it was and you always knew where you stood with him. He pulled no punches!! (thank God for that)
My heartfelt sympathies go out to Carol & the family.

As a business associate of Jim's for over 25 years, I first want to express my sincere condolences to his family. Secondly, I want his family to know how highly respected Jim was in the maritime community. During the many years we provided our stevedoring services to L&C Marine in Norfolk, Jim was always professional, fair, and loyal to his vendors. A man is measured by the memories he leaves behind, and Jim will always be remembered fondly by those of us who had the pleasure to work with him.

My respects to the Pusateri family over the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. L&C Marine was my customer back in the late 80s' and early 90s'. Working with Jim, Jerry and Bill was a pleasure

I can honestly say Jim was the best boss I have ever had. Every day was a new adventure with that man. There was no telling what I would be doing from one day to the next. He taught me a lot, and I would hope that I taught him a thing or two. He very rarely called me by my real name. He always called me Amelia or Aim. We made a great team, he would always pick on me and I picked right back. He never went a day without asking me how that great boyfriend of mine was, and if I was treating him right. He said he was lucky to have Carol in his life and that I should cherish everyday with the one I love. I will miss him terribly; he was like family to me. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him, and to get to know his wife and his family.

It was an experience working with Jim. I will miss him and his "colorful" instructions and explainations. He had the confidence in me to look out for his interests here at LPD and I really appreciated that.
My sincere condolences to Carol and his family.
