I met Jaime's family when they invited the Joppatowne High School Marching band over for a pool party one summer.
I've never felt so much hospitality and so welcomed from a family outside my own until I met the William's family. You are a blessed family and I will be praying for peace and comfort as you celebrate the life of Mr. Williams.

We are proud to have Jimmy Williams as one of our Inductees into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in St. Marys, Ontario. We hope the family is doing ok. Jimmy will be missed. We passed the information onto Jerry Howarth at the Blue Jays and he talked about his friend Jimmy during the Blue Jays broadcast last night.

Carole, we are thinking of you and Jimmys family. We are sorry that we didn't have more times together with Jimmy but we will always remember the few times we were able to get together. He sure made us and many of our friends happy with the great seats he was able to get us for the Toronto/Baltimore games at Exhibition Stadium, so many years ago.I'm sure he had to call in many favours to get those for us. We remember his fascinating stories of his life in baseball.
In deepest sympathy

My wife and I met him and his wife at the Avenue in White Marsh about a month ago. I had on my Baltimore Orioles jacket and he immediately started talking baseball. He was ever so nice. He gladly took a photo with me and proudly displayed his World Series and All Star rings. That photo means so much to me, truly made my day! I wish I could share it here. He truly had a love for the game. Rest in peace my friend.
