Family and friends will honor Joann's life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services - Parkville, 8800 Harford Rd. on Tuesday, 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday at St. Isaac Jogues Church. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joann's name may be made to Gilchrist Hospice Care, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031. Memory tributes may be sent to the family at

Susie,
My fondest memories of you and Joann are from our earlier days bowling on the teachers' league. I loved it when Joann lost the drink frame and had to buy us chocolate or cherry Cokes. She would laugh and then tell us what she thought under her breath. She was such fun. Wishing you and the family warm, wonderful memories of a terrific lady.

Dear Susie,
I am sooo sorry to hear of Joann's passing! Although I have not kept up with you all, I remember Joann as 'bigger than life' when she walked into our dorm room at Towson.....with her short blondish hair and big dimples carrying a piece of PE equipment. If you have been together 44 years, then you MUST have had a 'good life'....with lots of great memories.
