Barnes, Jr., Susan Barnes Slagle and Paul Alan Barnes; grandfather of Amanda Deshautelle, Sean W. Barnes and Daylon C. Slagle; brother of Bertha Adams and Fred, Kenneth, Edward and David Barnes. Relatives and friends may call at COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd, West, Silver Spring, MD, Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral Service at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 9701 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20903, on Thursday, December 1, at 10 A.M. The family will receive friends again at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD on Thursday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. with a Funeral Service at Millers United Methodist Church, 3435 Warehime Road, Millers, MD 21102 on Friday, December 2 at 11 A.M. Interment Greenmount Cemetery, Carroll County, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Maryland Chapter, 8600 LaSalle Road, #314, Baltimore, MD 21286 or to either Good Shepherd or Millers United Methodist Church.
