I will forever remember our business relationship, but even more so, John's
friendship to me. His humbleness showed me his true self....

Dear Paterakis Family Members,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. John's kindness will always be remembered.
When John was planning the Waterfront Hotel and I was in the conference business, I used to fuss about the hotel needing to be near the convention center. He always just smiled. I moved out of town and several years later, I moved back to Baltimore to find "Harbor East" and started working down the street. One day enroute to work, I saw John getting out of his car, I stopped and we hugged and I looked him in the eyes and said, "if you build it they will come!" He just smiled and I giggled. We should rename Harbor East to Paterakis Ville!
May God Continue to Bless You All with wonderful memories. All my very best,

JR, So sorry to hear about your Dad. I don't know if you remember me. I worked with Alice Rasbury in The Buying department at A&P Superfresh. I had the pleasure to meet you both. You both were the kindest, nicest people to work with and you both always acknowledge everyone. Not just the "Big Wigs" Your Dad will be missed. Prayer and thoughts go out to you and your entire family.
Sincerely,
Patti Schulte
