Joseph Grimes Obituary
On November 1, 2013, Joseph L. Grimes, beloved husband of 63 years of Dorothy A. Grimes (nee Westphal); devoted father of Gary Grimes and his wife Doreen, Tim Grimes and his wife Cheryl and the late Michael Grimes; brother of Raymond Grimes; loving grandfather of seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; Mr. Grimes worked as a supervisor for C & P Telephone Company for 38 years and then retired to Ocean City, MD where he maintained membership in the Elks Lodge #2645, VFW Post #8296, American Legion Post #1838, Masonic Lodge #222 and sold real estate for Caldwell Banker in Ocean City, MD.
Visiting at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road (Kingsville) on Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 am. Interment Highview Memorial Gardens.

Dottie - when I heard the news of Joe's passing I was saddened beyond words. You know how much I loved him and you. You both were always special to me. He was so much fun to talk to - always made me laugh. You had a beautiful life together. Please know I am here for you if you need me in any way. My prayers are with all of you.

Dottie---Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family. I am so glad I got to visit with you and Joe every time I got to the Ocean. He was a very special guy. I loved his humor, his generosity, his joy for life and the twinkle he always had in his eye---especially when he looked at you. The world is a better place because he upheld so many wonderful qualities.....Love of God, wife, family and life. I will miss him, dearly.
