Klara Berkovich Obituary
Klara will be remembered as a cherished pillar of her family, a lifelong learner curious about the world and those around her, and a devoted educator, dedicating her career of 83 years to teaching music. She took tremendous pride in supporting and challenging her students, instilling in them a sense of stability, confidence and accomplishment, while encouraging hard work. Her legacy lives on through her family, and through the students she influenced, so many of whom have carried their love for music into adulthood, passing it onto future generations.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Thursday, July 25th, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Please check the Sol Levinson website for contributions.

I will always remember Klara and the great times we had at the Coolfont music Festival teaching and playing violin together. I would like to use the opportunity to send my greetings and condolences to Adam. Klara was a grand lady and she and her husband were wonderful friends during our summer sessions.

I worked with her in Coolfont Music Festival for couple of summers early this century. Warmer person is hard to find and a great violin teacher. I will cherish her memory and send heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
