Lauralee Humphrey

Lauralee Humphrey (nee Thomas), of Lutherville, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, March 16th, 2023 at the age of 88. She is survived by her children, Edward Vance, Matthew Richard, and Kristen Elizabeth; granddaughter, Julianna Michaela Humphrey Bullis; nieces, Vida Edmund, and Alexandra Griffin; many Humphrey nieces and nephews; and family friend and caregiver, Christopher Mbugua. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Lord Humphrey, M.D.; sister, Beverly Thomas Brkic; and parents, Vance Erritt Thomas and Mildred Margaret Thomas (nee Dennis).

A private burial service is to be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lauralee's memory may be made to the Cancer Research Institute, 29 Broadway, Floor 4, New York, NY 10006-3111, the International Rescue Committee, 122 East 42nd Street, New York, NY 10168, the Feline Rescue Association of Maryland, 10383 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, or a future college scholarship fund named for Lauralee and Richard Humphrey (TBD). A memorial and celebration of life is to be held at a later date.
