Lillian Choyce Obituary



Mrs. Lillian Maxine Choyce, 77, passed away, Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at the Greenfield Senior Living, Hagerstown, MD. Born Friday, July 7, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Fred William Robinson and the late Leila Virginia (Hull) Robinson of Clear Spring, MD. she was the loving wife of Gerald J. Choyce for 27 years. She was a 1957 graduate of Clear Spring High School and a 1961 graduate of Findlay College, Findlay, OH. She taught business education subjects at Tuslaw High School, Massillon, OH. for eight years and at Catonsville High School and Randallstown High School, and part time at Catonsville Community College over a period of 25 years. In retirement, she was a receptionist at Days Inn, Frederick, MD for eleven years. She enjoyed family, reading, flowers and traveling. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother, Russell W. Robinson; sister, Ruby E. Smith; nephew, Russell "Rusty" Robinson and wife, Vicki; nieces, Sherry Bowers; Sena McCarty and husband, Rodney; Krista Triggs and husband, Monte; and Stacey Smith. She is also survived by Mr. Choyce's children and families; Jeffrey A. Choyce, Sr. and wife, Sue; Cynthia T. Wein and husband, Bruce; and Sandra D. Barrass and husband, John. She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Leila Robinson; brother, Fred W. Robinson and his wife, Josie; brother-in-law, Kenneth Smith; and sister-in-law, Doris J. "Dottie" Robinson. Services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at 1:30 pm, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North Hagerstown, MD. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, December 27, 2016, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Interment will be at the St. Paul's Cemetery, Clear Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave. Hagerstown, MD 21742. Online condolences may be expressed at www.douglasfiery.com
