Marion Chodnicki Obituary
Marion was a registered pharmacist for 40 + years. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (1951), a member of Rho Chi and past president of the Baltimore Metropolitan Pharmacy Association.
He enjoyed golf, bowling, attending football games, time at the beach, polka dancing and spending time with his family.
Marion is survived by three children, Dennis Chodnicki of Fruitland, MD, Marian Denise Chodnicki of Denton, MD, and David Chodnicki of Leland, NC; seven grandchildren, Ryan Chodnicki, Shey McCurdy, Brooks, Brad, Kimberly, Kevin, and Jamie Chodnicki; two great grandchildren, Benji and Jolene McCurdy; and a loving brother Casimir Chodnicki.
In addition to his parents Marion was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mamie who passed on December 12, 2021; his sister Rita Beyer and brother Richard Chodnicki.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 12 noon at the St. Casimir Catholic Church in Baltimore. Entombment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Baltimore.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association or Wicomico Nursing Home.

I have the band, JOY of Maryland. I am the accordion player. Marion and Mamie were great followers of ours for many years when we would perform at St. Stan's the last Sunday of every month, St. Casimir's, Polish Home and Sacred Heart of Mary. They loved to dance. So sorry to hear about Mamie passing and now Marion. But they are now together dancing the polka in heaven with all of their friends who have gone before them. Which are many. Our followers have dwindled to only a handful over the past ten years but I still remember all of them. May God bless them both and also bless their family. We will all be together one day.
