I am yet another in a long line of Delta Pi brothers who feels diminished at the sad news of Mark's passing. It's impossible to think of him without smiling and eliciting that reaction is a rare and special trait. What a gift he was to us all. Mark will live in the fondest memories of Delta Pi forever.

I am deeply saddened upon learning that Mark passed away. I attended elementery school, high school and Bloomsburg college with him. We were also Delta Pi brothers together. He was one of my best friends growing up. His humor could be matched by no one. My condolences to his family.

My sincere sympathy for your loss.
I did not know Mark personally, but I have read all the Brothers' rememberances of Mark, and it is obvious that Mark had all the qualities that we strive for to be a true Delta Pi Brother. We mourn as a Brotherhood.

We remember people not only for what they did and what they stand for but moreover, we remember people for how they made us FEEL. When Mark and I were back in Bloomsburg I laughed with tears in my eyes when I was with him. But now as I remember, look back and laugh inside, the tears in my eyes are because he is not with us anymore. What a loss!

I too was a member of Delta Pi when Mark went to Bloomsburg. Being from Eynon, we sometimes shared rides to or from school, usually with Cousin Joe Sylvester too. Mark was truly a great person and always fun to be around. What a great loss this is to all who knew him. May God bless Mark and his family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
