Marlene Phyllis Goldberg, 74, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away on December 10, 2015. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she is survived by her children, Shawn and Randy, and her siblings, Sam and Phil Rolnick. Services at Temple Beth El, Boca Raton on Sunday December 20th at 11AM. Donations in her memory may be made to JARC, 21160 95th Ave S, Boca Raton, FL 33428, (561) 558-2550.

If this is Marlene Goldberg who taught at Sussex Elementary school in Essex, MD, then I knew her, and am saddened to hear of her passing.
Mrs. Goldberg was one of my teachers in 6th grade back in 1976. She was an intelligent, friendly, inspirational, and passionate teacher. I know she left a positive lasting impact on many students that she taught over the years.
Will be praying for her family during this challenging time.
