Martha Sions

Martha Jeanette Sions, of Bel Air, Md., passed away at the age of 81 on Thursday, July 21, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon D. Sions. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Thelma Minnick, brother Dennis Minnick, and sister Joan Smith. 

She was devoted mother of Robert E. Noble and wife Gina Huster-Noble, John R. Noble and wife Lisa Godin, and Pamela J. Noble. She was the cherished grandmother of Nancy D. Bennett and husband Christopher Bennett, Brian J. Noble and wife Chrissy Noble, Julia C. Greb and husband William Greb III, Amanda R. Wagner and fiancé Christopher Richardson, Robert A. Noble, Robert A. Wagner and wife Tia Wagner, Elizabeth C. Wagner, and Alexander P. Noble; the loving great-grandmother to her 18 great-grandchildren. She was survived by her aunt Carolyn Walters and husband Charles Walters and siblings, Virginia Carpenter and husband Roger Carpenter, Marie Wood and husband Art Wood,  Timothy Minnick and wife Dorothy Minnick, and Patricia Smith and husband Lloyd Smith.

Jeanette was an outstanding seamstress in her earlier years. She was able to craft beautiful pieces, ranging from a variety of clothing to stuffed animals. Summer was her favorite time of the year. She enjoyed to plant and tend to her garden full of tomatoes and berries. She loved to have her video camera out to capture the memories of  the places she explored and special moments with the family.

She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by many. A celebration of life will be held in late September.
