Mary was a loyal member of the 'Royal Carpool'', 40+ years ago. In fact, 'Bubbles', as she was known in the 'Royal Carpool', was still a member in good standing through the friendship she maintained over all the years!! I was shocked to receive news of her death. What a sad loss. Now, only myself, the 'S'caped Penguin' and 'Princess Rain-a-Clouda' remain.
My deepest sympathy is sent to Mary's family, who I followed through all the years through Mary's newsy Christmas notes. My twin daughters are about the same age as Meghanne, and many years ago they played together in our home! I will always remember your Mom with fondness.

My sympathy and prayers go out to the entire Sloane and Hemler families . Mary, Cathy and I went to grade school and high school together. There are too many memories to share, but I can comment that she was a wonderful and kind person, and will be missed. Rest in peace, Mary.

So sorry for your loss. My family and theirs were neighbors in Hamilton and got together and played often.
I remember how kind the whole family was when my sister Kathleen was killed near St. Dominic School. They helped look after us and my parents during that time. We all stayed friends until we moved away. Prayers for all the family.

Dehner Family,
We are so saddened to hear the loss of your mother and grandma. She was so kind to our family when we moved in across the street. We loved seeing her out with the kids and stopping to say HI if we were outside with Langston. We had not seen her in a while do the pandemic but she was such a wonderful lady. We hope you guys find comfort as you navigate this terrible loss.
With love,
The Carroll Family.

My big sister, Mary, took care of me and the other younger siblings. That was her job as the oldest girl, growing up in the 1950's. She was a natural and nurtured us well. That never stopped. She loved to prepare meals and look out for our needs. That continued until the hour of her death as she advised those by her side where to find cider and cinnamon sticks to comfort them. I will warm some cider and toast her enduring love.
