Mary I. Tillotson, 84, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away May 26, 2023 at Gilchrist Hospice.

Born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada on April 8, 1939, Mary was the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred Paradis. Upon graduating from high school, she joined the Royal Canadian Air Force where she served from 1957-1960. There she earned her Accounting Clerk Certification and was stationed in Metz, France where she met and married her husband Paul in June of 1960. She and her husband were owners of the Towne House Restaurant in Aberdeen, MD for over 25 years.

Mary became a naturalized citizen on March 17, 1965, and has been a resident of the states for over 55 years. Active in Girl Scouts, Mary was a leader for many years. She enjoyed league bowling, boating on the Bush River and the Chesapeake Bay, was an avid sports fan and loved the Baltimore Ravens, Orioles and the Maryland Terps. She looked forward to returning to Canada for the annual family reunions at her parent's camp on the Salmon River. Mary was an honorary member of the Women's Army Corps National Veterans Association (Chpt 70) for over 15 years. She especially loved spending time with her family who was everything to her.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Pamela D. Lethcoe (Gene) of Palm Coast, FL, Kelley A. Washington (Sam) of Aberdeen, MD, and Dawn K. Haag (Jeff) of Aberdeen, MD; her brothers, Robert Paradis (Joy) of Poughkeepsie, NY and Father Paul Paradis of New Brunswick, Canada; her sisters, Carol McIver (Bill) of Ontario Canada, Janet Rodakowski (Allen) of Wentzville, MO, and Susan Daneluk (George) of New Brunswick, Canada, sister-n-law, Lucy Paradis (widow of Edward Paradis, Jr.) of Ontario, Canada; grandchildren Matthew Bennett, Samantha Martin (Mike), Hunter Haag (Hannah), Delaney Lethcoe, and Alexandra Haag; great grandchildren, Ariana, Isaac, and Leila, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul D. Tillotson (2008); her brother Edward Paradis, Jr.; her sister, Donna Slevin.
