My brother & Mike use to skateboard together in their junior high school days. When they needed a ride I use to take them & watch them ride. In those days they would skateboard to each others house. It seemed like Mike & Tom were always together being silly. My thoughts and prayers are with Mikes family & friends. I was happy to hear that he was living his dream of being a musician. I never got to hear him play professionally but remember the early days when he was starting out. It was good to know Mike.

I just found this out from Frank & Mike from Fire Within, I'm speechless. Some of you maybe now understand how truly small the world really is. From here to Hollywood Mike will be missed. I remember Back in the Day, I use to work with Mike Combs Mom...(At Rea Keech Buick in Ellicott City), Charlotte, I'm so sorry for this huge loss, he will be missed by all of us. I and knew Mike because he was in Strong Arm with Gene Barnett who was my Bro. And of course Mike Young was my bud too. All of us were connected in some way because we were and to this day, Musicians. That was our common bond. I remember Mike use to come to his Mom's office and hit her up for some money and stuff. He was a character. We were all starving musicians in 83 & 84. I'm glad to have known Mike for the short time I did. He was a great person and a cut up. Haven't seen him in years, but you never forget those that played in this area. I think about those days and how really good they were for all of us. It shaped us.
Mike may you be up there Singing "SIN CITY" with DIME!!!!

I am heartly sorry for the loss of Michael Combs. He was loved by all who knew him. All of my love and support goes out to his mother and stepfather the Borotka's . Michael was a reflection of his mother , a pure soul who's love and caring saved my sister and gave me a mother when I needed one most. Michael's soul has shaken loose his mortal coil and is soaring above us in heaven . All my love to his family and to Alison you are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family of my buddy. It had been too many years separated from Mike to have heard the news of today. I am sure you loss is immense and painful to have lost a beautiful soul like his at such a young age. I tried over this last year to track him down, and never really could find the right person with the right information. Only snippets, I wanted to tell him of the things I've done since 1993, like getting clean, doing things we talked about and dreamed about back then..listening to his travels. It breaks my heart to hear of a man that was like my brother 11 years ago. We shared some of the same passions and I will forever miss the boy that inside that man as I'm sure the family and friends will as well.
Rest peacefully and watch my back bro.
