My old lax buddy, spring is here and ten years have passed without you. Everything I remembered all those years ago, today is etched on my heart. You are irreplaceable and there is still a big empty spot that you once filled. That fact is there are few like Mike and I need all the Mike Hahns in my life that I can get. I look at your photograph in my office every day and remember. How I wish we were together playing lax, drinking brewski and laughing. Man, I loved your retelling the many funny stories and experiences that happened to you or you saw....How fortunate I was to be riding in the car with you, listening to the radio, not a care in the world, lax gear in the back on warm spring days, when the fields were green, the flowers in bloom and the birds sang.

Best Times Ever...

Jan,
Jamey called me and told me that mike had passed away, i was shocked and extremely saddened. Jamey was so blessed to have mike stand up with him at our wedding. It meant the world to him. The second blessing was that because of you and mike i was able to go to baltimore to be with my best friend cindy weir /jameys cousin who introduced us and wanted me home for her birthday. Mike helped me get there in time which ultimatly was her last birthday passing soon after from breast cancer. I will never forget that gift and the love the two of you gave me . Its impossible to understand why someone so young and full of life is taken from us so quickly. I know cindy and mike have already met in heaven and are looking down on all of us.He won't be alone. she is probably thanking him right now for getting me to her in time.
Jan , jamey and i will always be here for you. The memories and wonderful times will carry us through. We have mikes picture on our mantel and hope he knows we are always thinking of him.
With deepest sympathy

So, I'm told my ol'buddy is gone. I could have sworn it was just yesterday when we romped the green turf of the lacrosse fields, hit the Mount Washington Tavern and shared many a "frosty" together.
You my friend could have sold franchises on life! So full of energy, humor, positive vibrations, hilarious anecdotes, the inumerable list of discriptions could go on and on.
You brought the gift of smiles and laughter to all those you touched in the short time you were lent to us.
Though, I hadn't seen you in a long while I still kept up with you when I talked with Scotty and Mark. You will alway make me smile and when I'm down, I'll think you near geeting ready to join me in some crazy antic or to regale me with a hilarious anecdote.
Those who never met Hahnney will never know the character they missed. This world needs all the Mike Hahns it can get, I know I do.....Good bye dear old friend. I will see you again, but not yet.-Gummy
