To the family of Dr. Michael Kaminsky, may you always remember the good that he did in this harsh world of ours. How often did he give dedicated care and support to those who could not reciprocate, no matter how far away or close they were--in distance or in person. Money did not mean much; at least he did not show it. He had a purpose in life, to give love to those who were his dearest...and to show those less capable than he how to manage in their own difficult universe. His understanding of the mind and of people in general was a gift he used to elevate those who were struggling but also to challenge those he knew welcomed it. He loved family and friends; flowers; books; the exotic; beauty in its many forms; anything fun; chocolate. Also gifted with a brilliant brain, he was a teacher, one of life's highest callings. May we always remember his generosity and caring; his trying to be patient, even as he said that he was not a patient person; his humor and laughter; his acceptance of not being perfect, despite his constant efforts to always be a better person. Our deep condolences to all of you. We all have lost a downright good, remarkable man.
